Job Vacancies In The Banking Sector India

Finance is the life blood of any business and so are the banks. The banking sector got the boost because of the economic reforms that were introduced during 1980 - 1990. New licenses have been issued along with schemes for promoting banking across rural areas. The analysts believe that the banking sector may create upto 20 lac new jobs in the next 5 to 10 years.

Banks remain segregated mostly as per their area of functioning, ownership and category of customers sought. In India there are basically three types of banks under the control of Reserve Bank of India, they are, public sector banks in which government has stakes, private sector banks which are privately owned companies with public listing of shares and a scheduled bank category.

Job vacancies are announced by banks from time to time. Aptitude tests are conducted by banks to shortlist deserving candidates followed by group discussion and personal interview. Banking job vacancies are announced across different mediums including popular job portals like Monster, Naukri, Angel-jobs & so on. The candidates have to be active enough to track the upcoming job vacancies in the Banking sector.
