Study & Work In France

France is known for its quality in education. Many students from India & other parts of the world plan to study in France. However, studying in France from India involves a lot of expenses and often students choose to work part time in France.

French legislation now authorizes foreign students to work a maximum of 964 hours per year. This allows foreign students to work up-to 20 hours a week off campus. France there is a guaranteed minimum salary, which is € 8.71 gross per hour. French government even provides foreign students an opportunity to work for 6 months even after completing their masters or higher degree on a temporary residence permit. This permit is non renewable.

If you sign an employment contract that is in a field related to your studies and whose remuneration is at least equal to one and a half times the SMIC, you will then be able to work full time and request a change in status (from student to employee) from the administrative offices.

Pursuing higher studies in France ensures great career to candidates and as far as higher expenses are concerned they always have an option to recover it through part time jobs in France as permitted by the French government. There are many job portals, news papers & recruitment agencies that can help them in searching job vacancies in France along with their studies.
