Unadvertised Job Vacancies

There are various sources of searching job vacancies such as references, news papers, online job portals and recruitment agencies. However, when you search for jobs other than references the employers usually get flood of applications practically leaving no scope of bargaining for the candidates. Candidates even find it tough to get through the interview and the overall process becomes very tedious.

As against this, if the candidates try to source job vacancies through references there are much better chances for them. Practically speaking more than 70% of job vacancies remain unadvertised and often get filled up through references.

Job vacancies that are unadvertised and often sourced through references enjoy definitely following advantages as compared to other ways:

1) Employers don't have to spend on advertising job vacancies and also don't have to pay any recruitment commissions.

2) Employers don't have to scan through large no. of job applications.

3) Employers don't have to spend massive time resources in interviewing candidates.

4) As the candidate has come through some reference employers are ensured that the candidates are at par with their requirement.

5) Candidates are not required to be a part of the flood of candidates there are hardly few candidates to be interviewed through references.

6) Candidates are also in a better position when it comes to bargaining salary packages.

Going through the process of unadvertised job vacancies is a win-win situation for both employers as well as candidates.
